Avana should be taken approximately 15-30 minutes before anticipated sexual activity. It can be taken with or without food, but high-fat meals may delay the onset of action. As with other PDE5 inhibitors, Avana 200 mg does not cause an erection on its own. Sexual arousal and stimulation are necessary for the medication to be effective. The effects of Avana typically last for about 4-6 hours, during which time you may have the ability to achieve and maintain an erection when sexually aroused.
