Forza Horizon 6: Lamborghini Diablo SV Barn Find Location Guide
There is nothing quite like the thrill of chasing down a classic barn find in a new Forza Horizon game. With the franchise finally taking us to the incredible roads of Japan, the hunt feels more rewarding than ever. Among the highly anticipated hidden gems tucked away across the map is a true 90s icon: the 1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV. This rear-wheel-drive, V12-powered masterpiece is an absolute must-have for your garage, but tracking it down requires a bit of legwork before you can actually trigger the event.
If you have been driving aimlessly around the countryside hoping to stumble across it by accident, you will be searching for a long time. Here is exactly how to unlock the rumor, find the barn, and add this legendary supercar to your collection.
Step 1: Unlocking the Barn Find Rumor
Unlike older titles where rumors popped up randomly as you progressed, Forza Horizon 6 ties its barn finds directly to your progression within the campaign structure. Simply knowing where the barn is and driving right up to it will not do anything if you haven't put in the work first.
To get the required Orange Stamp for the Diablo SV, you need to reach campaign status level 5, which earns you the rank of Navigator. Achieving this status requires you to dive into the "Discover Japan" Collector's Journal. You can level this up naturally by playing through regional activities, completing story missions, and ticking off races across the map. Once the journal registers that you have hit Tier 5, the rumor will officially unlock, and the game will allow the event to trigger when you arrive at the location.
Step 2: Tracking Down the Barn Location
Once you have reached Navigator status, grab your favorite off-roader or cruiser and head over to the Ito Region. The barn is hidden along the eastern coast of the Ito Region, right where it borders the western edge of the Shimanoyama area.
To zero in on the exact spot, look for the local airfield on your map. You want to focus on the area directly west of May’s house and just to the right of that airfield. Keep an eye out for a patch of prominent, cleared-out tree stumps near the side of the main road. Right next to these stumps, you will spot a rough, wooden path carved into the landscape.
Turn off the asphalt and follow this dirt trail as it snakes away from the road. The trail will start to dip naturally down a hill, and right on the southern side of this path, tucked away out of sight behind a dense layer of trees, you will find the hidden barn. Drive right up to the garage doors, and the classic cutscene will trigger, revealing the dusty, slumbering Lamborghini Diablo SV.
Step 3: Restoration and Patience
As with all barn finds, the Diablo SV will not be immediately drivable. Because it is a high-performance, A-class monster, the horizon garage crew is going to take a notable amount of real-time hours to fully restore it to its former glory.
Pro Tip on Restoration: If you are completely swimming in credits and absolutely cannot wait to take it out for a spin, you can jump into the Barn Finds menu and pay a hefty credit fee to bypass the restoration timer instantly. However, for most players, the best move is to simply go back to enjoying the game. Go run a few extra races, clear out some PR stunts, or complete a couple of story chapters, and the garage will naturally finish the repairs for free before you know it.
Once the restoration is complete, you will have a pristine, roaring piece of Italian automotive history ready to tear up the highways and mountain passes of Japan. Happy hunting, and see you out on the road!
