Unlock Raider Tokens in ARC Raiders with U4GM
ARC Raiders players have a proper date to work with now, and that matters more than it might sound. If you have been sitting on unfinished prep, or just waiting to see whether the next cycle was worth the grind, the new Expedition 4 window gives you a clearer path forward, especially now that ARC Raiders BluePrints are part of the permanent reward pool.
When Expedition 4 opens and closes
The fourth Expedition window opens at 4:00 AM PT on July 7, 2026, then runs for about two weeks before closing at 1:00 AM PT on July 21. That is a bit more breathing room than the first couple of cycles had, and honestly, it feels like the right call. A one-week stretch can be tight if you are juggling work, school, or just trying to avoid burning out on one game for too long. With this schedule, there is time to plan your runs instead of rushing every night.
That timing also means the season roll-over should land shortly after the window ends. In plain terms, you finish the push, claim what you can, then move into the next Expedition with a stronger starting point. If you are still working through the prep stage right now, this is not the moment to coast. You have a real shot at turning leftover progress into something useful, and it would be a shame to let that slide because you assumed the deadline was further away than it is.
How the damage targets work
Expedition 4 keeps the same basic system that was introduced before: you are not chasing item value anymore, you are chasing damage. That change has made the reward path feel a lot more direct. Instead of hoarding random junk and wondering if you kept the "right" pieces, you just go out and put damage into enemies. Simple enough, but it still takes time.
The targets are stacked in five steps, and they go up in a straight line: 5,000 damage, then 10,000, then 30,000, then 50,000, and finally 100,000. Players who run regularly will probably knock out the early thresholds without thinking too hard about it. The last two are where the grind starts to show. You might feel like you are making slow progress for a while, then all at once the numbers jump and the next reward pops. That's usually how these things go.
It is worth remembering that Expedition 3 also lasted two weeks, while the first two windows were shorter. A lot of people guessed that was because the system had changed so close to launch, and that still sounds reasonable. This time, though, the longer window sticks around again, which tells you the developers likely know the full damage climb needs a proper run-up. If the goal is 100,000 damage, a rushed schedule would just leave more people behind.
What you actually get this time
The reward structure for Expedition 4 is a big shift from earlier cycles. Before, players were earning skill points for hitting objectives. Now, each completed objective gives you one random blueprint plus 150 Raider Tokens. If you finish all five stages, you head into Expedition 5 with five blueprints and 750 Raider Tokens already in your account. That is a much more practical payoff for a lot of players, especially if you care about gearing up fast rather than chasing a slow stat bump.
There is an important catch, though. The blueprints are not forever in the way Raider Tokens are. They carry into the next Expedition cycle, then get wiped when the reward structure changes again. Raider Tokens behave differently. Those are permanent, so if you decide to save them instead of spending them straight away, they should stay with you. That makes them feel a bit more valuable than the usual seasonal currency, and it gives you some room to think before you buy.
Extra rewards, caps, and catch-up options
Just for signing up, you will also get a few permanent extras right away, including a piece of the Zenith Outfit and 12 additional stash slots. On top of that, Arc Raiders still keeps some of the older progression bonuses in place, but they are capped. XP gain, Scrappy materials, and repair value boosts will not keep stacking past Level 3 after Expedition 4 wraps up. So if you were hoping to keep pushing those numbers higher every season, that door is basically closed for now.
The other thing to keep in mind is that permanent skill points are no longer being added through Expedition rewards. The old cap still sits at 15, and unless the system changes later, that is where it stays. If this is only your second or third Expedition, you can still catch up on the missing boost caps and older rewards, so you are not locked out of everything. And if you finished the prep work for a past cycle but forgot to sign up in time, there is a catch-up path that lets you claim those missed rewards once you complete the requirements for that specific window.
Final Thoughts
Ermal's newer trading options give this whole setup a bit more flexibility, too. You can buy extra stash slots from him, but those do not carry forward into the next cycle. The Expedition Vault is the more interesting part. It lets you hold five items and bring them into the next Expedition, which can make a fresh season feel less brutal at the start. Still, that vault resets as well, so if you want that same boost again later, you will need to do the trade all over. For players trying to stay one step ahead, it is worth paying attention to cheap ARC Items and deciding what really helps your next run before the window shuts.
