Build Every Landmark Faster in Monopoly GO at U4GM

Since Scopely launched Monopoly GO! in April 2023, the game has grown into far more than a quick dice-roll app. Each new board asks you to raise and improve a full set of landmarks, and there are well over 170 boards to work through. The tricky bit is timing. If you spend cash bit by bit, progress can feel slow and exposed. Players who follow news around the Monopoly Go Partners Event often learn the same lesson: holding resources for the right moment usually pays off better than rushing every small upgrade.

Read the Board Before You Roll

Open the app and take a second to look at where your token sits. The GO button moves you forward, while the Build area, album, and friends options handle the rest of your day-to-day play. Don't just tap and hope. Railroads are the spaces worth watching because they can trigger a cash raid or a Shutdown. Those turns can change what you can afford in a hurry.

Check how many spaces separate you from the next Railroad.
Keep the roll multiplier low when the landing spot looks ordinary.
Raise it when a valuable space is within a realistic dice range.

Why Seven Matters

Two standard dice produce seven more often than any other total. It comes up in six of 36 possible combinations. That doesn't guarantee a Railroad landing, of course, but it gives you a sensible place to use a larger multiplier. If you're seven spaces away from a Railroad, that's usually a better moment to take a calculated shot than when you're drifting toward a low-value corner.

Dice total Ways it can appear Simple use
6 5 of 36 Worth watching near rewards
7 6 of 36 Best target near a Railroad
8 5 of 36 Useful, but less likely than 7

Build in One Proper Push

A lot of players upgrade one landmark whenever they've got enough cash. It feels productive, but it can leave half-built properties open to damage from another player's Shutdown. A safer habit is to collect cash until you can finish the whole board, or get very close. Then open Build and move through the upgrades in one sitting. It's less flashy, yet it cuts down on repairs and stops your money disappearing before it does any real work.

Make Your Dice and Cash Work Together

Dice are limited, so every high multiplier should have a reason behind it. Save the bigger rolls for Railroads, event targets, or a spot where the odds actually look decent. After a strong cash run, don't leave the pile sitting there for ages. Put it into landmarks while you can. If you're planning around a group activity, some players also choose to buy Monopoly Go Partner Event support for extra momentum, then use that boost to finish a board rather than spreading it across random upgrades.
