A place name gives an education topic a useful starting point. Thinking about Jankowice, I would be curious about the questions students can investigate in their own surroundings rather than only through examples from elsewhere. That is the appeal of Jankowice local education. A local story, a familiar building, or a conversation across generations can bring several subjects together. I like projects that allow learners to discover something new about a place whose name they already recognize.
