Before registering I read through rocket riches to see how sign-up and account verification are explained. Registration at an online casino usually takes a few minutes, but the steps after it, such as verification, security settings and your first withdrawal, are where players most often get surprised.

Creating the account

Registration normally asks for an email address, a password, your date of birth and basic personal details. Use accurate information: it has to match your documents later. Choose a strong, unique password, and turn on two-factor authentication if the site offers it, so a leaked password alone cannot open your account.

Logging in safely

Always check the address in the browser bar before entering your details, bookmark the login page you trust and avoid logging in over public Wi-Fi. If a message asks you to log in through a link you did not request, go to the site directly instead. Log out on shared devices.

Verification and the first withdrawal

Licensed operators must confirm your identity and age. That typically means a photo ID and proof of address, sometimes proof of the payment method. Upload clear images early, because withdrawals are usually held until the check is complete. Use the same method for withdrawing that you used to deposit whenever possible.

In short

Read the terms before you accept them, set deposit limits at registration and keep your account details private. Players must be 18 or older.
