Tadalista is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains the active ingredient tadalafil, which is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Tadalafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, facilitating the ability to achieve and maintain an erection. Tadalista works similarly to other PDE5 inhibitors, such as sildenafil and vardenafil. It inhibits the enzyme PDE5, leading to an increase in cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). This, in turn, relaxes the smooth muscles in the penile blood vessels, allowing increased blood flow to the penis.
