Epoxy resins are saturated or infused into carbon fabric to create carbon fibre, which is then heated to high temperatures to create carbon fibre sheet. Several layers of fabric are layered over a mould to create shaped pieces. The fabric is then saturated with resin and heated until the resin has permeated all of the layers.
